Phygital International has announced Abu Dhabi as the host city for the Games of the Future 2025, taking place December 18 to 23.
The global, multi-sport event blends physical athleticism and digital gaming in disciplines that include Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Shooter and Phygital Dancing. Athletes first compete in a digital version of their sport before facing off in real-world versions, with combined results determining the winners.
The inaugural edition of the Games of the Future debuted in Kazan, Russia in 2024, drawing 2,000 athletes from over 100 countries. Kazakhstan will host in 2026.
