Gymnastics Canada and Cirque du Soleil awarded the first ever Cirque du Soleil Artistic Performance Award to Olympian Félix Dolci at the 2025 Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Calgary. The award is the first public initiative born of the new partnership between the two organizations aiming to foster innovation, and support career development and artistic expression for gymnasts and coaches. Their first event in August 2025 saw 60 Gymnastics Canada athletes and coaches visit Cirque’s Montreal space for creative workshops and a Cirque du Soleil performance.
