Competition Manipulation Pilot Project

The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) has partnered with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) on a pilot project to help national sport organizations (NSOs) manage the threat of competition manipulation. Six NSOs—Badminton Canada, Canada Basketball, Canada Soccer, Curling Canada, Racquetball Canada and Squash Canada—have committed to the 18-month pilot project, which began in June 2022 and runs to December 2023. The resulting competition manipulation policy will be supported by education, reporting, monitoring, investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
