The Canadian Olympic Committee is calling the Rio 2016 Games a watershed moment for the organization’s myriad social and digital channels. Canadians enthusiastically engaged with Team Canada, setting new benchmarks for brand awareness, media value and social impressions. Team Canada’s Facebook Live Studio at Canada Olympic House had more than 8.5 million views in the first 10 days of the Games, and Team Canada-related hashtag impressions were projected to top 1.8 billion for the Games.
