  • 500+ competitors from 23 nations 
  • 11 adaptive sports, including winter sports for the first time: alpine skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, cross-country skiing, skeleton and wheelchair curling 
  • First Invictus Games organizing committee to partner with host First Nations: the Lil̓wat7úl (Líl̓wat), xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwəta (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations 
  • 1,900 volunteers from 18 nations and 90 full-time staff 
  • A $60.4-million balanced budget, including $30 million from the Canadian and BC governments, $22.07 million from 40 corporate partners and $2.6 million from individual donors 
  • A $5-million legacy fund to be invested in programs in British Columbia, across Canada and internationally
