CSTA Updates Toolkit

The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance is updating its selection of industry tools and resources. The popular Sport Tourism Economic Assessment Model (STEAM) is being relaunched at the 2016 Sport Events Congress (March 6-8, Ottawa), to include updates to the input/output tables and spending profiles.
CSTA is also introducing a new Bid Evaluation Model to help national sport organizations (NSO) quickly assess bid opportunities for international sport events. Developed in conjunction with the Canadian Olympic Committee, and designed for use before committing to a bid, the new model helps evaluate such factors as the NSO’s event expertise and financial support.
