This action-packed event hits Mississauga for the first time ever in 2024, and will be returning in 2025 and 2026.
Visit Mississauga, the official destination marketing organization (DMO) for the City of Mississauga, Ont., is excited to announce that it will host the JACKALOPE action sports festival for the first time ever, from July 12 to 14, 2024 at Celebration Square and Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. Additionally, JACKALOPE will be returning to Mississauga to host the event again in 2025 and 2026.
Against the vibrant backdrop of Mississauga, thrill-seeking audiences will be treated to an epic weekend of free, adrenaline-filled urban programming featuring skateboarding, bouldering, breaking, freestyle motocross and base jumping. Whether you’re competing, new to the sports or simply a fan, JACKALOPE is sure to take your breath away.
The JACKALOPE Series
JACKALOPE is the initiative of Montreal-based Tribu Experientiel, a marketing and event production company that helps organizations forge stronger ties with youth and adults who are young at heart by creating daring, integrated experiences that get the adrenaline flowing and make indelible memories./
The event was founded in 2012 with the mission of shining a light on action sports by creating opportunities for communities to come together and celebrate their passion. Since then, thousands of Canadian and international athletes have participated and made the festival on their own. Stars have been born and its main disciplines, including skateboarding, bouldering and breaking, have recently been added to the Olympics.
“Visit Mississauga is thrilled to partner with Tribu Experientiel Inc. and bring JACKALOPE to Mississauga over the next three years,” said Victoria Clarke, CEO of Visit Mississauga. “Action sports are on the rise, especially since their inclusion in the Olympics, and this is the perfect time to bring an event like JACKALOPE to Mississauga and provide everyone with the opportunity to experience these exciting sports in person.”
Within the last decade, JACKALOPE has been conducting introductory action sports tours across Canada and has recently exported its concept to Virginia Beach, VA in the US. The festival has also been sponsoring international skateboarding events in London, Miami, New York, Prague and more, and has a window on the world with its TV platform and BLOG.

The full program and schedule for JACKALOPE Mississauga will be announced soon. The public will be able to try their hand at skateboarding and bouldering, and even tandem jump with professional base-jumpers.
JACKALOPE will also feature free skateboarding (street and vert ramp), bouldering, breaking competitions and freestyle motocross demonstrations.
