Held annually since 2001, the 2021 Sport Events Congress will bring together more than 400 national and provincial sport event rights holders, tourism professionals, event management firms and suppliers from the fastest growing segment of Canada’s tourism industry. The annual conference for stakeholders from the sport tourism sector always features an outstanding lineup of speakers, engaging content, interactive displays and networking activities. As has been the case in past CSTA Conferences, delegates will experience a unique and memorable Ottawa location at the Ottawa Tourism hospitality event that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
“We have held several successful Sport Events Congresses in Ottawa and are pleased to return in 2021. Ottawa Tourism has been a terrific partner through the years, and we look forward to working with them again both as we host it here this year, and again for our 21st year,” said Rick Traer, CEO, Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance. “Ottawa has so much to offer our delegates who travel from across the country, and Ottawa Tourism continuously provides creative opportunities for them to experience the city in new ways every time they attend the event.”
“Ottawa Tourism is proud to support CSTA in bringing back the Sport Events Congress to Canada’s capital. This important event brings together key players from the sport tourism industry to exchange valuable knowledge and expertise that fosters innovation and success in sport events. Ottawa Tourism remains committed to our Bid More, Win More, Host More strategy to attract regional, national, and international events to Ottawa and to working closely with sporting organizations to do it.” – Michael Crockatt, President & CEO, Ottawa Tourism.
