Calgary, AB – March 3 – Boxing Canada is proud to announce that Calgary will once again host the prestigious Canada Cup alongside the Youth & Junior Championships, March 18–21, 2026. This marks the third consecutive year the city has welcomed the nation’s top up-and-coming boxing talent for this highly anticipated national event.
Athletes from across the country will step into the ring, competing for national titles and the opportunity to elevate their standing within Canada’s high-performance pathway. The four-day championship will showcase the next generation of elite Canadian boxers as they pursue excellence on the national stage.
“This event represents the future of Canadian boxing,” said Christopher Lindsay, Executive Director of Boxing Canada. “Calgary has proven to be an outstanding host city, and we are excited to return for a third year. The Canada Cup and Youth & Junior Championships provide a critical competitive platform for our developing athletes and an opportunity for fans to witness the next wave of national team talent.”
Competition will take place daily in two sessions:
• Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Evening Session: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door. Boxing fans, families, and sport supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on Canada’s rising stars as they battle for championship honors.
The Canada Cup and Youth & Junior Championships continue to play a vital role in identifying and developing athletes who aspire to represent Canada on the international stage. Spectators can expect high-energy bouts, competitive matchups, and an exciting showcase of skill, determination, and national pride.
