Tourisme Montreal is branding its sport event hosting services under the new Sports Events Montreal umbrella. “Our mission doesn’t change. We play a leadership role in the development of the sports market—we plan, we bid, we promote and we facilitate rights holders when they come to Montreal,” says Andréanne Paquet, manager, sport market development, Tourisme Montreal.
Paquet wants sport event rights holders and federations to know that Sports Events Montreal is their first point of contact when considering Montreal for their events. “As a sport events rights holder, you want to have a smooth experience for your event. We can facilitate connections with the government, sports partners, venues and volunteers—it’s a collaborative approach.”
