Welcome to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan’s largest city! Situated on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, the “Bridge City” (nicknamed for the eight bridges that span the river), is a four season destination. The city’s youthful vitality and cultural richness are evident in every neighbourhood, thanks in part to the University of Saskatchewan, where leading-edge technology such as the Canadian Light Source Synchrotron draws the best minds from around the world. A vibrant, sophisticated arts community is more evident than ever with the opening of the Remai Modern Art Gallery, home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of Picasso linocuts in the world. Boutique shopping, challenging golf courses, and fresh local cuisine round out Saskatoon’s appeal.

World Class Facilities

Whatever the sport, Saskatoon has the facility to host! From SaskTel Centre (15,000 capacity) to Merlis Belsher Place (3,500 capacity), these facilities can host a wide range of hockey, curling, figure skating, and ringette events. Indoor events such as basketball and volleyball can make their home at the University of Saskatchewan’s Physical Activity Complex (2,500 capacity). Football and soccer are king at Griffiths Stadium (6,100 capacity) and Saskatoon Minor Football Field (5,200 capacity). Whatever your needs are, Saskatoon has the perfect fit for you.
